How can I install GlobalProtect on my university device?
Answer
GlobalProtect is deployed by default to all primary and secondary laptops issued to BGSU faculty and staff. If your university laptop does not have GlobalProtect pre-installed, you may install it by following these instructions.
*Please note, you must be on-campus and connected to the BGSU network to install GlobalProtect. If you are off-campus, please contact ITS for assistance.
To Install on your Windows device (If you are off campus, contact ITS for assistance):
- Navigate to the Microsoft Software Center.
- Search for GlobalProtect.
- Click on GlobalProtect.
- Select Install.
- After installation, view these articles for more information on using GlobalProtect.
To Install on your Mac device:
- Navigate to the BGSU Self Service App.
- Locate the GlobalProtect application.
- Select Install.
- After installation, view these articles for more information on using GlobalProtect.
