How do I replace office printer supplies (Customer Replaceable Units) for Konica/HP devices?

Answer

PERRY proTECH, BGSU's printing management vendor, provides departments with a feature called ReadiShip. ReadiShip tracks toner levels and when the toner reaches a specific level, a replacement toner is automatically sent to the device's owning department.

ReadiShip does not track waste toner disposal box or staple levels. The customer is responsible for monitoring those supplies and should contact PERRY proTECH to order replacements when needed. 

  • Waste Toner Box - An alert will appear on the device screen indicating that the waste toner box needs to be replaced.
  • Staples - There are 5000 staples per cartridge so these do not need to be replaced often. Users can check staple levels by slightly pulling out the staple cartridge to visually check the amount left. 

Shipping labels for delivered supplies will include the PERRY printer ID.
