Create An Assessment With Canvas New Quizzes

How do I create an assessment using Canvas New Quizzes?

1. Sign in to Canvas.
2. Select the course for which you would like to create a quiz. 
3. Select Quizzes from the navigation pane.
4. Select the + Quiz button.
5. From the Choose a Quiz Engine screen, select New Quizzes.
   • You can choose a default quiz engine by checking the box next to Remember my choice for this course.
6. Enter assignment details such as the assignment name, points, and assignment group. 
7. Assign the assessment and select a due date.
8. Select Save.
9. Select Build to add questions to the assessment. 
10. To add questions to the assessment, select the blue Add (+) button.
11. To close your assessment and return to the Quizzes page, select Return.
