What is it?

SAS (Statistical Analysis System) is used to run large statistical operations and return data.

Where to get it?

  • SAS is installed in many computer labs by default, but you can use this service to request it be installed in a new location.
  • SAS can be installed on an individual university owned computer by using this service to request the installation.
  • SAS can be installed for students on their personal machines by brining them to the Technology Support Center.
    • SAS installs on personal machines will take between 2-4 buisness days.
    • SAS can only be installed on Windows. 
    • SAS for Mac will need to be installed via Virutal Box. Virtual Box requires a Windows license, which can be obtained by e5 on the hub.
    • The SAS install is roughly 26 GB in size and may have trouble on machines with smaller internal storage.

Training for SAS can be obtained for faculty through the Center for Faculty Excellence.

Training for SAS can be obtained for students through the Learning Commons.

How much does it cost?
