Video Conference: Request Portable Equipment

What is it?

The majority of class and meeting rooms across campus are not equipped to support video conferencing by default. Portable web conferencing equipment is available for checkout. The following units are available on a first-come, first-served basis:

  • Video Conference Kit - includes webcam, microphone and USB cable

Some rooms may already be equipped with Cisco Telepresence equipment that can be used for video conferencing. If you are unsure of the capabilities of a specific classroom, please contact Classroom Technology Services (CTS)

Contact Classroom Technology Services (CTS) to reserve a unit. 

How to use it?.

For assistance using the WebEx Software, scheduling a WebEx meeting, etc., please contact the Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE)

While these kits can be used for other video conferencing software such as Skype, GoToMeeting, or Hangouts, BGSU will only provide software support for hosting WebEx conferences.
