Wireless Network: Create Sponsored Guest Account

All BGSU account holders 

What is it?

BGSU account holders can create Sponsored Guest wireless accounts through the Sponsor Portal. A Sponsored Guest is a short-to-medium term visitor to BGSU requiring internet access similar to that of a student. This also includes guests who do not receive text messages. Examples of Sponsored Guests may include short-term consultants, vendors or guests using the BTSU or Levis Commons meeting facilities, etc.  

Where to get it?

To create a Sponsored Guest account, please select the Sponsored Guest Account button on this page to access the Sponsor Portal. Login using your BGSU username and password.  

How to use it?

For instructions on using the Sponsor Portal, please review the Knowledge Base article(s) below: 

Once the guest has received their login credentials, they will be able to access the BGSU-Guest network. Sponsored Guests can use the network as they would any other wireless internet connection. Sponsored Guests will be provided access to the BGSU-Guest network only and are required to follow University policies and procedures.
