What should I keep in mind when scheduling my upgrade appointment?


Faculty should keep the following in mind when scheduling their upgrade appointment with Information Technology Services (ITS):

  • You will be unable to access your device until the upgrade is finished.  

  • Dependent upon the amount of user data requiring backup, the upgrade process may take longer than the approximated 2.5 hours.   

  • Specialized software may require a follow-up appointment to install. 

  • Additional details regarding the upgrade process will be communicated during your scheduled appointment.
