Will opening a tagged email make me vulnerable to attacks?
Answer
No. Opening an email that is tagged as from an external sender will not automatically make you vulnerable to attacks. Current phishing attempts tend to utilize links and/or attachments to gain valuable personal information for their use. Simply opening the email to read more should not open you up to attacks, however, it is recommended that you practice extreme caution before clicking on links or opening attachments from these external sources.
