How do I install the Mobility Print on my Android Mobile Device?

Installing the Android Mobility Print App

Step One: Open the Google Play Store and search for "Mobility Print."


Step Two: Install the Mobility Print app. The App Publisher should be "PaperCut Software."


Step Three: After the app successfully installs, open it. Tap the large, green "ANDROID SETTINGS" button.


Step Four: Tap "Mobility Print." If you get a dialog box asking if you would like to activate the service, click OK. Otherwise, simply switch the toggle from "off" to "on."


Step Five: After a few seconds, if you are connected to the correct eduroam wireless network, you should have the BG-Print-Color Mobility printer displayed on your screen. You may now exit your settings and you should be all set to use Mobility Print on your Android device.

Using Mobility Print on Android

This part of the guide will show you how to print out of the Microsoft OneDrive app for Android. The steps may be slightly different depending on which app you are printing from.

Step One: Open the Microsoft OneDrive app.


Step Two: Scroll down to the file you would like to print, and tap it.


Step Three: Tap the 3-dot menu icon.


Step Four: Select "Print."


Step Five: Verify your print settings and tap "PRINT."


Step Six: Make sure BG-Print-Color, Mobility Print is selected, and tap the blue printer icon to send your print job to your queue. You should get a notification if your print job was successfully sent.

Please Note: Color prints are selected by default, if there is color in your file. If you would like to print in black and white, please change these settings in your Printer Options prior to printing your document.


Retrieving your Printed Document

Step One: Visit one of our many Mobility Print release stations on campus.

Step Two: Swipe your BGSU ID card on the touch panel OR select the keyboard icon in the top right corner of the screen and enter your BGSU username and password.

Step Three: You will now see your list of available prints in the virtual printer queue. Select the document(s) you would like to print on the touch panel and then click Print. 

Step Four: Once your document has been released, you will see a "print job released successfully" notification on the touch panel

Step Five: Retrieve your document. You can then logout of the printer by clicking Log Out in the top right corner of the touch panel, OR you will be automatically logged out after approximately one minute of inactivity.
