Configure Apple iOS Mobile Device For Mobility Print


How do I install the Mobility Print on my Apple mobile device?


Users must be connected to the BGSU eduroam network in order to complete this setup. For information on connecting your Apple mobile device to eduroam, click here

Accessing Mobility Print 

Step One: Navigate to the document on your phone that you would like to print. In this case, we will open a document from the OneDrive app.

  • Examples of other apps that may be used for printing include, but are not limited to: Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Outlook, Notes, PDF viewers, etc. 

Step Two: Depending on the type of file, click the icon at the top of your screen to open the document in its respective Microsoft Office app.

Step Three: Click on the ellipses (…) icon at the top of the screen.

Step Four: Select Print. 


Step Five: Click on AirPrint.

Step Six: Select "bg-print-color" from the list of available printer options.

Step Seven:When prompted, enter your BGSU username and password and then click OK

Step Eight: bg-print-color should now be selected as the printer on the Print Options screen. Click Print to print your document to a Mobility Print release station.


Please Note: Color prints are selected by default. If you would like to print in black and white, please change these settings in your Printer Options prior to printing your document.


Retrieving your Printed Document

Step One: Visit one of our many Mobility Print release stations on campus.

Step Two: Swipe your BGSU ID card on the touch panel OR select the keyboard icon in the top right corner of the screen and enter your BGSU username and password.

Step Three: You will now see your list of available prints in the virtual printer queue. Select the document(s) you would like to print on the touch panel and then click Print. 

Step Four: Once your document has been released, you will see a "print job released successfully" notification on the touch panel

Step Five: Retrieve your document. You can then logout of the printer by clicking Log Out in the top right corner of the touch panel, OR you will be automatically logged out after approximately one minute of inactivity.
