What methods or protocols can I use to log into my BGLinux account?
Answer
You can use any of the following programs to log into your account:
- SSH (Version 2)
- SFTP
- SCP
- Access via X11 is available, but this is restricted to connections tunneled through SSH.
Please note: The host name for the system is bglinux.bgsu.edu. Your login credentials are your BGSU username and password and you will be required to authenticate via Duo.
BGSU ITS provides basic instructions on how to connect to BGLinux, if you have specific questions regarding using BGLinux, please contact your course professor.
