Concourse Syllabus Issue - "Error: Could not verify ID token: State not found"

Users may received "Error: Could not verify ID token: State not found" when they attempt to click on the Concourse Syllabus link in Canvas. Follow these instructions for a fix.

When accessing Concourse Syllabus through Canvas, some users may receive the error message: “Error: Could not verify ID token: State not found.”

Concourse Syllabus requires third-party cookies to be enabled. This issue most commonly occurs when using Safari, which blocks third-party cookies by default.

Enable 3rd party cookies or use Google Chrome.

How to Enable 3rd Party Cookies

1. Select Safari followed by Settings (or Preferences on older macOS versions).
2. Select the Privacy tab.
3. Uncheck Prevent cross-site tracking. 
4. Close the settings window.
