Can I hide my personal information from the MyBGSU landing page once I have signed in?
Answer
No. The portal is not intended to be shared. Both the student-facing and faculty-facing sides contain intentionally integrated, up-to-date personal information to support ease of management and use. The best course of action when sharing course materials is to go directly through Canvas.
If you wish to access Canvas without logging in to MyBGSU, you may do so from the main page of MyBGSU before clicking the Login button. Canvas is located in the Shortcuts on the left hand navigation menu.
You can also access Canvas directly at bgsu.instructure.com or canvas.bgsu.edu.
