How do I enable live transcription in Microsoft Teams?
Answer
Microsoft Teams offers built-in transcription capabilities that can be used during Microsoft Teams meetings. The transcriptions appear in real time and include speaker names and time stamps.
To enable live transcription:
Meeting Recordings
Select Record during your meeting. This will automatically prompt transcriptions to begin.
Transcriptions Only
- Select More Actions from the meeting controls.
- Select Record and transcribe.
- Select Start transcription.
- Confirm the language of the meeting speakers.
- Select Confirm.
