Question

How do I use the Zoom wireless display option in my classroom?

Answer

This guide is only intended to be used for classrooms equipped with wireless sharing. Check your classroom's description to see if this option is available to you or contact our office to request this feature in your general-use classroom. This method of sharing is not recommended for showing videos.

  1. Using the computer in the classroom, launch the Wireless Display application using the shortcut on the desktop.
  2. Launch the Zoom Meetings App on your laptop or iPad sign in using your BGSU Username and Password.
  3. Select Home from the list of applications at the top.
  4. Select the Share Screen button.
  5. Enter the sharing key listed on the computer in your classroom.
    • If you are using a Mac or an iPad and have never shared your screen in a Zoom meeting, you may be prompted to grant access to your screen.
  6. When you are finished using your laptop, select stop share on your laptop.
  7. Select Exit from the bottom left corner of the screen on the classroom computer.
