Issue
Apple is ending support for 32-bit applications in macOS. These applications will need to be addressed before upgrading to the next version of macOS (v10.15 Catalina).
Resolution
For computer labs and classrooms, 32-bit applications will continue to function for the upcoming school year through the end of Spring Semester 2020; however, to avoid removal, updates (if available) or replacements to the following applications must be identified prior to the Fall 2020 software submission deadline, and subsequently procured.
The list of known 32-bit applications being used in computer labs and classrooms on campus are as follows:
BGSU (TO BE ELIMINATED)
Fathom
Geometer's Sketchpad
