Can Student Employees have access to Cisco Jabber?


Student employees are able to use Cisco Jabber if they have a BGSU phone extension.


  • If the student already has access to a Cisco Agent/Call Center. Sign into Jabber using BGSU username and password.
  • If a student does not have access to the Cisco Agent/Call Center, a request can be made by a full time faculty or staff by using this request form.
    • Note: In the request new service form, please specify that the student will need a Cisco Agent/Call Center Profile and not a telephone, unless one is needed.
  • If Cisco Jabber is not installed on the device, it can be downloaded from the Windows Software Center. Use this guide for instructions on how to download programs from your Software Center.
