To verify your Code42 CrashPlan is backing up to the cloud, follow these steps:

Windows Devices

  1. In the bottom right corner of the screen, expand the caret icon in the system tray.
  2. Select the C (Code42 CrashPlan) icon.
  3. If the pop-up window that results reads BGSU Cloud Backup Set, then your computer is connected to the cloud.

Mac Devices

  1. In the upper right corner of the screen, select the C (Code42 CrashPlan) icon from the menubar.
  2. If the pop-up window that results reads BGSU Cloud Backup Set, then your computer is connected to the cloud.
