Re-assigning Signature Responsibility

If you are the creator/sender of a document that has been sent out for signature, you can change parties who are responsible for signing. 

  1. To change signers, login to DocuSign (, click on the Manage tab, and double click the appropriate document:

  2. This opens the document.  You will then click “Other Actions”, then “Correct”:

  3. On this screen, you will be able to supply the new signer’s email address and name.  Once updated, click “Correct”:


This will alert all parties of the change via email.
