How does an attendee send a chat message during a Webex event?

Answer

Attendees can chat with the host, panelists, and/or presenters during a Webex event. To begin a chat, follow these instructions:

  1. Open the Chat panel by selecting the chat icon in the meeting menu.
  2. In the Send to drop-down list, select the recipient of the message.
  3. Enter your message in the chat text box.
  4. Depending on the operating system you use, follow this step:
    • Windows: Select Send.
    • Mac: Select enter on your keyboard.
