Editing a Webex Event Invitation List

Question

How do I edit my existing event invitation list?

Answer

When scheduling or editing an event, you can edit your invitation list for both attendees and panelists by following these instructions:

Webex Events New

  1. From the Meetings tab, select the meeting that you would like to edit.
  2. To edit panelists:
    1. Select the ellipses (...) next to the panellist's name and select Remove.
  3. To edit attendees:
    1. Select Edit in the Attendees box.
    2. Select the trash can to delete the attendee.
    3. To edit attendee information, you must delete and re-invite the attendee.

Webex Events (Classic)

  1. On the Schedule an Event or Edit Event page, navigate to the Attendees & Registration section or Presenters & Panelists section, as appropriate.
  2. Select Edit Invitation List. 
  3. Select the contact's name in the Name column.
  4. Make the appropriate changes.
  5. Select Update Invitation List

ITS will decommission administrative use of the Webex application on April 21, 2022. Academic use of Webex (Canvas integration) will be removed as of December 20, 2021, and the Webex application will be removed from classroom computers over winter break. New University-owned devices no longer include the Webex software; Zoom and Microsoft Teams are available as a replacement for Webex. Visit www.bgsu.edu/webex for more information.
