How do I grant access to a Shared Office Account calendar?

Answer

Follow the steps below to grant read-only or read/write access to an Office calendar. 

  1. Launch Webmail. 
  2. Select your photo/silhouette, or the circle with your initials, in the top right-hand corner.
  3. Select Open Another Mailbox.
  4. Enter the name of the calendar.
  5. Select the full calendar name when it appears.
  6. Select Open.
  7. Go to the calendar tab in the bottom left.
  8. Right-click on Calendar under the section Your Calendars, and select Sharing Permissions.
  9. Enter the email address of the individual you wish to grant access.
  10. Select their name when it appears.
  11. Select the correct detail level.
  12. Select Share.

Please note: This option should only be used to grant read-only or read/write access to a Shared Office Account calendar (this will not work for personal BGSU email/account calendars). Changes in ownership to Shared Office Account calendars should be requested using this form.
